Residents throughout Tendring are being invited to hitch veterans as they commemorate the eightieth anniversary of D-Day.
A service will probably be hosted by Clacton Royal British Legion and Tendring District Council (TDC) on the battle memorial in Clacton’s seafront gardens on Thursday, 6 June, at 11am.
It is going to mark the eightieth anniversary of D-Day, which noticed the launch of Allied operations to liberate Europe from Nazi Germany throughout the Second World Warfare.
